A Short for Long Distance Brevet's
The shorts came right away, great service. These shorts are wonderful, the material is top notch and the sizing is perfect. I would make a couple of manufacturing alterations especially since your facility is right there and you can do hands on modifications: the pad is the best I've used, but it is sewn a bit to high in the back, by about 1 inch. The benefit of full saddle to pad contact is minimalized when the largest area portion of the pad doesn't come into contact with the saddle. Because the pad was sewn to high in the back, it meant that the front of the pad was further back, causing minor irritation from the front of the pad with body parts, causing me to adjust my "package' frequently, again I think adjusting the pad would solve the problem. The length of the legs is about 1 inch too long, causing material to bunch up in between the upper thigh and crotch. Shortening the length would allow the material to be stretched to mid thigh which is perfect for ultra long distance events. The silicon leg grippers are great, but without shaven legs you may want to add some more, I found the legs starting to ride up without a good grip on hairy legs. I know this seems like a lot of info, but I know the product is perfect and can be a real benefit to long distance riders. If you want me to test any of the modifications I would be honored too. Maybe I should have tried the ones you had suggested. If you want I can test those too. I appreciate you helping me. Thank you so very much, matt levy

Good, but not great
The website says these are good for a century ride, but I wore them today for a 42 miler and I wasn't that impressed. I only ride weekends so I don't have a conditioned butt, so I look for a really thick pad in the shorts. These shorts were comparable to the Bontrager "racing" shorts that I have for about the same price, but they are not as good as the thick Bontrager shorts (RXL, I think). However, those shorts cost a lot more, so these are probably a good deal.

I am rather new to biking, but quickly recognized the need for a decent short for rides in the 30+ mile range. Based on prior reviews I bought these shorts. What a difference! No saddle fatigue that I noticed up to 30 miles, very snug at the leg and no chaffing anywhere. The panels are such you feel like your thighs are getting some circulation assistance. Have not yet ridden during warmer temps so can't comment on heat and perspiration dissipation, but expect they will perform well. Well worth the investment.
ProsSnug fit in thighs Padding prevents saddle fatigue

Not what I expected
They aren't as comfortable as I was hoping for. My mountain biking shorts have better padding I think because the chamois is not as rough feeling.
ProsThey don't slide down my waist.

Great pair of shorts. Padding was good but started getting sore after 35 mile of 50 ride.
ProsGreat compression. No ride ups. Chamois pad good to about 35 miles then start to feel seat.
ConsMaybe little more padding.
Best Uses35 miles or less. This was while MTB.

Don't work for me
I really want to like these shorts--good price point, love the feel and look of the side panel--but I just can't. I have 6 or 7 pairs of cycling shorts at any given time, ride 100-150 mi/week. THESE IRRITATE MY BOTTOM LIKE NO OTHER PAIR OF SHORTS I'VE WORN! Is it the coarse weave of the chamois fabric? Is it the location of the seam? Is it the chamois design? I really haven't been able to figure it out, but I've used lots of Chamois Butt'r in an attempt to adjust. Maybe they just don't fit my bottom... After the first abraded experience, I gave them a rest for a few weeks. Then I tried again, about 12 times in all--like I say, I really want to like these shorts!--but it hasn't really gotten better so they're going in the trash before I'm tempted to give them another try.

Great bike shorts!
Bought these shorts in early May the week before a 100K ride. I am very impressed with these shorts! The quality, comfort, and fit is right on. I am 5' 11", 165lbs. and the size is perfect. The waist line and leg cuffs stay in place and do not creep up or down. I had been wearing Pearl Izumi Quest shorts for a long time and something I noticed right away was the ventilation. When you stand up while riding you can feel air easily moving through the shorts and they do not stay soaked with sweat. Since purchasing these I have washed them at least twenty times (by hand). They are sewn very well and it looks like they will hold up nicely. I plan on purchasing another pair so I can rotate them. Definitely worth the money and made in America!!!

USA made, designed and owned
The best description is a product made in our own country, U.S.A. Personally, the best shorts. Reach out and contact the experts for your final decision and you can decide for yourself how it is. Describing this shorts are like all the common cliches you here everyday. Best fitting, temperature cool, and a shorts made for cycling by cyclist is an under statement in my opinion. I am forever grateful

Comfortable, good padding
I have large 24" thighs (lots of biking and genetics), so I always have trouble finding the right fitting shorts. I bought a pair of XX Large and they fit my legs fine and are not overly big elsewhere. The padding is comfortable and provides proper cushioning where needed. I plan on getting another pair. I have yet to try these on sustained mountain climbs, but don't anticipate any issues.
ProsGood flex in the material Good padding High waist Breathes well in hot conditions Seems to be true to sizing.
ConsNot recommended for cold weather (50 degrees F or below)
Best UsesShort or long rides. Good in cool or warm weather.

Not crazy about the design on the sides. Would be much better if solid black. Also, the padding is very bulky, like a diaper when walking around in them. Should have returned them but after trying them out on a 63 mile ride, I figured it was too late.
ConsBulky padding, design should be solid black or something not the poka dot sides.

I recently had surgery to remove a bikes nodule which was next to the bone you sit on. These shorts make my riding allot more comfortable and I was able to do back to back 30+ mile rides, first time since surgery. They seem well made and feel super to wear and look great.

Very comfortable and great for the long rides...No pain!
These shorts are excellent for the long rides. They provide enough padding and cushioning to minimize any discomfort while riding for hours. A must have!

Great for the long haul!
I wore these for a 90+ mile ride in total comfort. Great shorts for the price.

Great Shorts, but looks different than photo
These are well made comfortable shorts. The fit is really good, with a very secure fit at the leg opening that keeps the shorts from sliding up. Some other brands I bought fail to do this. The only issue is that the photo showed a two-toned black-gray color scheme which is why I bought these. However, the shorts came all black. I kept them, but a two-tone color scheme would have been really nice. I'm between a size L and XL and the L fit's great.
ProsGood Secure fit, Quality construction, Nice pad.
ConsDifferent Color than photo.
