Great for a Recumbant Trike
I ride a Catrike recumbent trike. I do not need extra padding, I need smooth and almost seamless. These shorts are perfect. The cinch at the leg end is great because it keeps stinging insects from flying up your pant-leg and causing havoc.

love these shorts!
I've been riding with nylon baggies for awhile, most MUSA stuff, and these shorts are great. Plenty of room for full-thigh guys, and they're plenty durable so far. I've worn 'em 30 times, maybe, and they're in great shape.

Great pair of shorts
Ordered a pair and was very concerned about ordering online. However when they got here I was very please. In fact the day after ordering the first pair I ordered another pair. Definitely will continue to buy shorts from here.
ProsStretches very well when snagged on something They breath well Comfortable Fits well
ConsNo cons but size is exact, maybe a tad bigger, if you like them a little more fit order a size smaller.

Nice design and fit.
I am tall and thin and these pants fit great. I can't keep the belt adjusted but nothing a needle and thread can't handle. Love the pockets.

Fly Zipper opens to left?
Received my knickers today really enjoy the fit and style... funny thing is the fly is open to the Left... is that supposed to be European flair? Or was it just rarity... Just wondering Jun from Jersey

Unpadded
Clearly I didn't read closely enough. When I purchased a set of "cycling knickers", I expected them to have a cycling chamois. I have not worn these and don't know when I ever will.

Too heavy
Quality and value are excellent. The material is too heavy for summer riding here. I plan to return them. Chris

Well Made
These knickers are well made with numerous pockets. The overall length is not ideal for me on my recumbent bike in that the cuff breaks mid knee for me causing a rub with pedal strokes. Cuff length is fine on my upright bike

Love the Urban shorts but I continue to be frustrated by the fact the charcoal pants are always out of stock.

Any chance they'll bring out khaki?
I love these shorts. I have them in black and gray -- and virtually live in them. (My only gripe is the "girl's side" zipper in the black pair; but one gets used to it.) I really do wish they would become available in a khaki or loden type color.

Very Trike Friendly!
Hello, Thanks for making a great knickers that not only work with my recumbent trike but fir my currently plus sized frame. I had about given up on finding cycling clothing that fits until I discovered AeroTech on the Bent Rider Online site. Thanks, Bill
ProsSizing!
ConsNone as yet.
Best UsesAll cycling. I use mine for my recumbent trike rides but they'd work for any cycling, hiking, roller skiing, or rollerblading.

Dry fast, Great fit, durable, free belt! You can't go wrong with that. I have multiple pairs, my go to for every ride. I wish they still had all the color options available! I could use another grey pair

Love the knickers :)
Just what I needed for MTB. Love the pockets. Lot of MTB shorts have barely just one pocket!! Yes, I'm aware that you shouldn't store stuff in the pockets for you might get hurt when falling!! They worked with my knee pads greatly. It's comfortable and light to wear.

First pair of cycling shorts ever and so far the best ever
Roomy, breathable, stretchy and versatile. They're a very comfortable lightweight pair of shorts and even when I'm not running errands on my bike I slip them on since they're so comfy.

Using as "rowing" shorts
I'm not a biker; am an avid flyfisherman and like to guide friends out of my driftboat or cataraft. These are terrific, quick drying with some storage pockets for fly boxes. Mainly, they are long enough to cover my knees which often get burned (I'm 6'3") ...and I hate wearing long pants if I can avoid it as I do quite a bit of stopping and wading the rivers of NW Montana. The material looks like it will hold up well though I have only had them a few weeks.
ProsQuick Drying Lightweight but durable feeling material Pockets.

Great for the Trail
Always have a hard time finding baggy shorts that fit well for trail riding. Gave up and rode with my bibs but didn't like being that guy. As a last resort I tried these cycling knickers and they are great. The material stretches so they don't bind up around the thighs. I am tall but these are the perfect length for mountain biking/trail. You may limit your market by calling them urban cycling knickers. They look and perform great as trail shorts as well. Great job.

Nice product
I use the knicks in cooler weather while commuting to work. The coldest day was 6 degrees F. They provide good coverage and wind protection. These are the best I have found for riding in temperatures below 40 degrees.
ProsThey seem durable and well thought out. I like the belt and the drawstring at the knee.

Love 'em
Just got these pants in the mail and put them on after a long day in my work slacks. I've got meaty legs so wearing pants that fit my waist end up being too tightly around my groin and upper thighs. Still after having zero tolerance for confining pants, I put these on and experienced pure comfort. I've got complete mobility, no confinement when squatting. No sausage casing feeling in the legs. I can lounge in these knickers the whole day, or hit the trails. I'm so glad I found these. I usually wear 34" waist pants and my current work slack, if I'm honest are getting a bit tight. (thanks Christmas cookies) I went with a medium and had good results. They look fitted with minimal loose fabric to get snagged, but still have a baggy look. If you want a baggy fit go with the recommended size.
ProsStretch, fit,
ConsCan't speak to them at this point.

I think I'm in love
I love these shorts - for a very tall man (I'm 6'11") it's wonderful to have a pair of cycling knickers that don't make me look like an overgrown child in the wrong clothes. I have a 42" waist (and a 38" inseam and just over 250 pounds). I ordered the XXL, a beautiful fit and still lots of room, if I want to have some more pie...
Proslightweight, breathable, great fit, keeps th'oul liathróidí cool
ConsI'm probably going to wear them out, coz I'll wear them so often, they're great! If you don't see another review from me here on them, then hopefully that means they're hardwearing too :)

excellent active wear
I use these exclusively for bouldering and rock climbing. They are flexible and allow for great range of motion. The zippered pockets keep everything in place and the extra length protects the knees while allowing the feet to be unobstructed. Overall exactly what I look for in a climbing pants.

Best pants ever!
I bought these pants in a thrift store and wore them a couple days a week for two summers. They were finally getting raggedy and I tried to buy new ones on line. I didn't realize they were men's but once I found them I was totally willing to purchase them full price. They are comfortable, convenient with zippered pockets in all the right places and dry so quickly that it makes them really versatile. I wear them for casual wear but also dressy because they stay brand new black.

Love these knickers
Have purchased two for myself and one for my wife. The material is awesome and feels great. Love being able to cinch bottoms so no riding up. Would be five stars except for button closure(double snaps like Zoic) and needing a belt instead of Velcro tightened(again Zoic) and also fact that belt is a pain to get back on and male end falls off. Make these corrections and they would better than Zoic Reign knickers....

Great pants!
Absolutely love these pants. The design, the technology, the attention to detail... All of it top shelf. I've had them for a year now, wear them 2-3 times a week, they still look new. My only complaint: I wish I had read more carefully the reviews that said they run large, I bought the mediums, in hindsight wish I'd gotten small. I thought they might shrink, wrong, they don't. Wish all my pants/shorts were made of that material
ProsDesign, technology, attention to detail
ConsThey run a size larger for average build people.

Great pants for cycling and kayaking
All around great pants. I got three pair. Great for cycling, kayaking and yoga. Only four stars because they're expensive and they don't run true to size - they run large. Otherwise, if you can afford these, enjoy.
ConsSize runs large.
