Well designed, and very comfortable
Light, comfortable, cool, fast drying and very well ventilated. Plenty of pocket space without looking like typical cargo shorts. I'm a 32 waist, M fits well as long as I dont expand any more! Bought these to wear with cycling undershorts, but find them good for casual wear, occasional swim, etc.

pretty good---
I thought the shorts had belt loops, and for some reason their is a belt loop in the back, but no others. The side straps used to tighten up the shorts in the waist don't hold well, and loosen very easily when riding. I guess that is understandable though, when being in the forward leaning position, and breathing heavily sometimes. Loops for a belt, or even a draw string would be a good addition. On the plus side, they are comfortable, have lots of pockets, and night safety reflector strips are great. Would I buy them again? Afraid not. Seems I'm always having to tug on the straps to hold them up. Probably could go on a diet would help reduce my paunch. But that's why I'm riding!
Proscomfortable, lots of pockets, and night safety reflector strips.
Cons no belt loops or draw string. side tightener straps not enough, and for the price should have them.
Best Usesleisure and riding.

Bad Fitment
Apparently, having a size 40 waist also means you have 7 ft long legs, and gigantic testicles. The legs on these shorts are incredibly long, and the crotch is super baggy. I'm 6'2", and most of that is leg, so for them to look long on me is saying something. The point of MTB shorts is that they won't get caught on the seat, when moving back and forth over the bike. These have waaaay too much material in the crotch. I caught a snag every time I stood up out of the saddle. The shorts are awesome, and are made of high quality materials. If the dimensions were a little more realistic, I would have given them 5 stars, and had nothing but praise to sing.
ProsSuper high quality Very breathable
ConsTerrible fitment/dimensions
Best UsesGood for hiking and MTB (if you go a size smaller than normal).

Just as advertised
I had no problem with fitting like some have mentioned,my waist is 33 and the mediums fit perfectly. Ive used these without a padded liner and had no issues, the mesh in the crouch and back area really helps with ventilation. Great company great customer support (thanks Chris) and quick delivery.
ProsNumerous pockets.
Consloose threads.

I would give these shorts a zero stars if I could ...
These shorts were a complete waist of money. They said 4XL I looked at the sizing chart and everything to make sure everything was ok with the sizing, well guess what at the most these shorts were a 2XL ... if even that ... I was really disappointed and will NEVER be purchasing any more of this type of biking gear from this company. With me you have one shot you lie about your product once and my business is GONE period! So safe your self the money and aggravation, because they will sell you something that is not true to size without a moments hesitation. Go somewhere you can try on the gear in person.
ConsNot true to size and completely unusable. Waste of money and waste of time,
Best UsesRag if that.

Good quality - Measure your waist
I had to return for replacement with a larger size, as it turns out I failed to measure for an exact fit. Even with the measurement, they are tighter than I would like (since I was at the minimum of the size range), so maybe order one size larger even. The snap doesn't give you that audible "snap" that says it's fully engaged, but that could be just my snap..either way I haven't had any problem with it coming un-snapped. The pockets are great, zipper pockets in the rear are perfect for your iphone. Nicely vented for summer wear.
Proswell made, seems to be good quality
Conssizing seems a little tight around the waist even after measuring - The rest of the shorts fit great, not tightness across the seat or in the legs.
Best UsesMountain/Cross - Running into the store on the way to or from.

Super shorts
They fit great and my wife said they don't look dorky. Paired with reg underwear or cycling shorts for longer rides these shorts are well designed and made. I like the vented gusset in the crotch. They didn't catch on my seat upon mounting. Well done Aerotech!
ProsAlways fashionable black
ConsNo other colors
Best UsesCycling. Water sports with a lining. Fast and light hiking.

Light & Comfortable
Very nice shorts for cycling. Seem well made. Light and confortable with good pockets. XL was a good fit for me (6'5'', 36ins waist) but my personal preference would be for them to be just a touch longer. Got stung by an extra £16 customs charge on delivery (ouch!) which is something to think about if you're ordering from the UK.
ProsLight, quick drying, side pockets

ATD Mountain Bike Shorts Do Not Disappoint
These shorts fit well and have a lot of pockets. But the best part of them is the stretch material. Lightweight and moves well while mountain biking. The stretch material is a plus because you can move easily in them as well as they don't get hung up on the nose of the saddle like a lot of conventional mountain bike baggies. Good stuff!!

Nice lightweight shorts.
Comfortable, stylish and practical. Many pockets to store items, they wash and dry quickly also. As noted in other reviews, I had to exchange for the next larger size...they came in and fit perfect.

Waist Sized Smaller Than Stated?
I like the shorts but had to exchange for a the next size up. My waist is a 44-46 so I ordered the 3XL but they wouldn't even button? Sent back for the 4XL which I hope will fit. There was about an inch sort in the waist I'd guess?
Proslight, ventilated, stylish
ConsSize seems to run small

Well made, a bit long in the crotch
The headline says it all. The shorts are well mage with ligh material and a generous quantity of pockets. The wiast closes with a popper that holds well, and there are cinches on each side that are easy to find and adjust. I find that the shorts are a bit long in the crotch for me, and I need to keep hiking them up. But they are good enogh that I will continue to hike them up until I can get a smaller size

Four holes in the first ride, and didn't touch the ground. The see through mesh on big man shorts not the most comforting. Great pocket location and size but way too fragile. Mesh in front pictures got a hole from having keys in it. Mesh seems to snag on anything rougher than air.

Great for touring or long day rides
Ride mostly longer road rides. Plenty of pockets to store snacks and other necessary items. Fit is close but I don't even realize I have these on. Dry in a flash, so good for back to back days on extended rides.
ProsComfort/fit, pockets
ConsZipper tugs come off in the wash (minor detail).

Great all-around shorts
I have worn these shorts both with and without the liner, and am quite happy with their performance. With the waist tabs, I was able to get a snug fit that worked in riding AND when wearing them to do something more pedestrian like mowing the yard. My waist is pretty small, so I appreciate a pair of shorts that fit well without binding my legs.

Great Shorts
It is tuff finding clothes that will fit me. I am 6' and 345 lbs. I wanted cyclewear but couldn't find anything in my size in Canada. These shorts look great, breath well and are lightweight. I wear a size 48-50 in my regular shorts so I purchased the 4xl based on the sizing chart (47-50). The just fit with the expansion fully stretched. So the sizing is a tad bit snug. Next time I will buy a size larger. The pockets are great and I love the reflective material sewn into the shorts. Quality is great and I would recommend them to those looking for a comfortable Mountain Bike shorts.

Great Lightweight Shorts
These have mostly been great shorts. The pocket placement is great, and the side-mounted belts work well. My only complaint is that they are just a little bit too long at the legs and crotch, and sometimes go over my knee, or droop and catch on the saddle when I'm getting on and off my bike.
ProsLightweight with plenty of pockets.
ConsA bit too long at the legs and crotch.
