Gel Touring Shorts
We released the Gel Touring Short back in 2012, and it was one of the first cycling shorts on the market to integrate side pockets. This short instantly became very popular and was our number one selling short by 2015 and has held that spot since then. When we designed this short, the owner/founder of ATD, Cathy Rogers, was planning to do a cross country tour with her husband. She wanted a way to keep more items accessible well doing the trip.
The Gel Touring Short was made for long multi-day trips. We specifically picked the chamois for this reason. The 12mm sit bone area uses gel inserts to add padding and reduce compression. It also helps to absorb vibrations from riding on the road.
We offer this short in sizes small to 4XL for men and to 2XL for women. Tall sizes and extended women sizes are planned to be released later this year.

I really like the innovative design with the mesh sides, as I like to keep certain things handy, and this will do the trick. The Gel seat is just what the doctor ordered, and really helps out when riding. I would highly recommend both the company, and these shorts to anyone who is larger and really wants to get into cycling. I bought basic black, so I could wear them with anything. I started with Aerotech when I was 40 lbs heavier, and could not find any cycling clothing that would work for me. I got tired of talking with 140 lb cyclists at the bike store, who basically told me to give up... but Aerotech has lines of clothing for almost anyone. I had purchased a pair of mountain bike type shorts a couple of years back, and I'm still using them today -- they have worn like iron. I purchases these cycling shorts to update my clothing and get a better fit after losing weight -- I used the size chart -- and they fit extremely well, and I still have some 37 lbs to lose!

All Day Bike Shorts
The All Day Bike Short is the successor to the Gel Touring. We created this short because we wanted to add another 6+ hour bike short to the line up, and we wanted to add some higher end features to the short. On the All Day Bike Short we tailored the pocket to securely hold a cell phone. We added reflective binding to the pocket and reflective tabs to the legs to help increase visibility when on the road. We used an updated silicone leg gripper to securely hold the legs in place.
The All Day Bike Shorts is constructed with three layers of foam. Each layer is a different density. The top layer is an anti-microbial fabric made with a micro-fiber fleece. It measures 10mm at the sit bones.
The All Day Bike Shorts (women's are called Luna) are available in three colors for men and four for women. We offer them in sizes small to 6XL for men and x-small to 4XL for women.

These Shorts Will Go the Distance
I'm preparing for a multi-day long distance ride and want shorts that will provide all-day comfort. I typically wear another brand of shorts but since I've enjoyed Aero Tech jerseys, I thought I'd give these shorts a try. After several 50+ mile rides in these shorts, I can definitely tell the difference. They are comfortable and the chamois feels just right, not too thick or bulky. I also like the mesh pockets - perfect for gel packs, a phone, or other small items you may need to access easily during a ride. I plan to order more of these shorts soon.

Voyager Short
The Voyager Short was designed to provide long lasting comfort and increase visibility. We used the same chamois that is in the All Day Short. This chamois is great for 6+ hours in the saddle. This short features a back pocket that provides extra storage when you need it, and it disappears when you don't.
Low light conditions in the morning or evening can be enhanced for visibility to motorists. This garment has 360 degrees of active visibility. The active movement of pedaling will help draw more attention. This will maximize your visibility if you get caught out late.

Gel Touring Bib Shorts
Just what he needed!
My husband is 5'6" tall and approx 260 lbs (all weight around middle plus he has a painful hernia) and I ordered him the XL size. We have started cycling for our health (and fun). He was having problems keeping shorts up because his belly would push them down - the waist would roll and he would worry about plumber butt...makes for a worrisome not very fun or relaxing ride.
Fast forward to these bibs....THEY ARE PERFECT for him! He loves them! They fit perfect over his belly and hernia area and he can go on a relaxing ride without worrying about mooning riders behind him. I ordered him these and one other brand. While both fit nicely THIS pair is his favorite! He is also loving the mesh pockets - what a great idea! The chamois is not as substantial as his regular shorts but he says the all around fit of the bib more than makes up for it. Right now we are riding regularly between 10 - 15 miles and his seat bones still get ouchy so maybe once he gets more conditioned in the seat bone area he will have a different opinion about the chamois.

Thank you Aero Tech for such a great product that has made our rides together much more enjoyable! We both spend more time looking around at cool things along the trail than worrying about making sure shorts are pulled up.
After we created the Gel Touring Short, we received a lot of requests to turn them into a bib. These bibs are great for tours and century rides. The large mesh pockets can conveniently hold anything you need well on the bike, but you won't even notice them when you're not using them. We finished this bib with a soft binding and reflective tabs.
These are available in a men's cut in sizes x-small to 5XL and in tall sizes. Tall sizing adds length to the inseam.
