Material is not good quality
I bought a pair of Louis Garneau Pro Cycling Knickers about a year ago. Granted, I cycle a lot, but I own at least 5 pairs of knickers as well as many cycling shorts. These did NOT last. I never put these shorts into a dryer, but instead air dried them each time. Within about 4 months, the elastic around the inner quads started fraying. At first, I thought it was while small pieces of dust, but no, it was the fabric. It got very bad after two more washes. I finally tried to contact the company but I got no response. So I sent the shorts back to the company with a very detailed letter asking for a refund or a replacement. The Louis Garneau company didn't bother to send me any response back. I have cycled for 40 years and I have never had a pair of shorts as bad as these. I recommend that no one consider buying them, especially considering the company does not appear to care to stand behind their product.
ConsMany years ago I used to believe the Louis Garneau company was the best of the cycling apparel companies. I do not believe that anymore and mainly, be aware, that this company does not stand behind its products. That, to me, is a sign of a very weak, unstable, and ultimately a dying company.
Best UsesNone I can think of
