2) What do I want my kit to look like?
3) What is my budget?
4) When do I need the products?
2) Recommendations for success!
Recommendation 1 - Communication, we want to know details!
Creating a custom product is not like purchasing a jersey off our website. It's a process that requires frequent Communication back and forth from the salesperson to the customer. The more questions you ask, the more details you provide, and the more information you give us, the better the outcome of the jersey because we can make suggestions on what products to purchase or what services to inquire.
Full Custom - Full Custom is the process of creating a fully printed product designed by the customer or from our talented group of designers. There is no limit on the amount of logos, text, shapes, colors, and other designs element.
Semi Custom - Semi Custom is the process of modifying a pre-designed layout by add logos, text, and clip-art, changing colors, and adding upgrades and add-ons to match the customer's wants and needs.
Basic Custom - Basic Custom is the process of adding logos, text, or basic graphics to a blank garment.
Product line - Products that can be full or semi customized.
Fit Kit - A size run of products is send to the customer, free of charge, to ensure proper fit.
Recommendation 2 - We love a Vector Logo.
Vector logos are a special file type that can be stretched and pulled to the size of a jersey while retaining its shape and not becoming pixelated or blurry. These files end in EPS or AI and some PNG, PDF, PSD files and they are normally created in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. We can pull colors, text, and other graphic elements from vector logos in case you want spread it throughout the jersey. Not all graphic files are Vector logos. We cannot accept JPEG, GIF, or low resolution PNG files because they are non-vector files. These are normally low resolution and cannot be used on a jersey.
Vector File - Files that are created in adobe programs and can be editable so you can open them and edit or use any text, color, or other elements within the graphic.
Raster Files - Also known as non-vector files cannot be edited or expanded. They are a set image file that are usually lower resolution.
Pantone Colors - A standardized color reproduction system that allows different manufacturers in different locations to refer to the Pantone system to make sure colors match without direct contact with one another.
Design Time - The charge for the creation of artwork for a jersey. Depending on how complex or simple the design is determines the cost.
Recommendation 3 - Don't wait until the last minute to contact us or place the order!
Creating a custom product takes time and because of all the various factors and elements that might slow down the process. Whether it be the design and approval stage, collecting sizing and quantities from the team, the manufacturing of the products, or the shipping, it is always better to add a week or two onto you estimated timeline. We will be able to give you estimates on how long it will take for each stage, but there is not much we can do if you are not prepared or if the questions we provided above are not answered by you first.
Lead time - This is how long it will take to manufacture the kits, also known as production. It does not included how long it take to create the design or the time for shipping.
Design Stage - The process of creating a design for a customer. Customers who provide a completed template do not need to wait for this stage to be completed before production.
