I've retired my generic, white sweatsocks ;-)

Posted by Stephen T on Jul 22nd 2017

These are perfect. There was a recent study done by Trek that concluded highly visible calve motions are particularly recognizable to motorists as cyclists (assuming you order a high visibility color). Until we all have LEDs on our shoes/calves, these socks are the next best thing. I'm 5'8" and ordered a large pair and they don't ride down at all. But I suspect taller riders might want to order the next size up.

    Excellent price; quick delivery

I like my new socks for fit and comfort. Two socks snared on first use, causing runs. I have never experienced runs before, maybe your weave is just very loose. Two socks out of twenty (ordered ten pair) is not bad, and the socks are still usable. Just thought you should know. Stuart Conway

    Really Nice Riding Socks

Posted by Carol on May 10th 2017

I'm riding with the Aero Tech 12" compression socks all the time now. I've got a bad (right) ankle and sometimes it will swell up at age 61 I can only assume I'm getting a bit arthritic in places. Cycling keeps me moving and the joints feel much better,. Ever since I've started to use the compression socks the swelling in my ankle has been reduced to almost nothing and they feel good when they are on. I will say this much they are tight when you first put them on. Keep in mind they are compression socks so they will be tight especially the first few times you use them, they will loosen up a tiny bit but they will remain plenty tight. Once you get them on they will feel as good as any other sock you have ever worn and they provide all the necessary support and compression in your legs and ankles for hours of riding. I've grown quite use to them and t I now own four pairs of the 12" compression socks. I like them a lot, just wish the color was a tad bit more toward the more popular high visibility yellow side as they stand now they are more of a reflective green.

    GREAT FOOTWEAR

Posted by Ace on Mar 21st 2017

Eventually I will have to put these socks in the laundry. It will be difficult because my feet have become rather fond of them. My feet are size 91/2 and the large size fits perfectly as the sizing chart suggests. They seem very durable which is important to me since, like I said, they don't see the laundry as often as they should. My other cycling socks that are of another name brand didn't last too long. They were thin sock which I thought was cool--why wear thick socks in the summer, right?--but they wore out in the toe area right away.
