    My new favorites!

Posted by Paul Cappiello on Jun 19th 2018

Recently made the switch from years of touring/racing traditional road and mtbs to recumbent (Cruzebike S40.) Was looking for no or minimal pad cycling shorts and tried a bunch. The Aero Tech minimal padded shorts are outstanding. I'm 6'1" 190 lbs and the L fit perfectly with just enough compression in the thigh. XLs are a little looser in fit - I ride in one or the other depending on how hard I plant to ride. The length is perfect. Leg gripper holds just fine. Have about 800 miles on my first pair and they look great. the light padding is great in the seat and the front provides a little modesty for this MAMIL. Highlly recommended.

Great biking pants. Comfortable, lightweight and the only ones I could find in a solid color other than black. I have more than 1 pair in Royal blue. Wish size large was availbale in red !

These are the least restrictive and at the same time the most comfortable biking shorts I own. I "retired' the biking shorts I had been using from other manufacturers.

    Royal Blue Bike Shorts

Very Good Fit, and, lightweight, but not too tight. Did not bunch up nor did the legs roll up. Biking is much more fun when your clothing fits so well that you forget what you are wearing !

Aero Tech men's pro bike padded shorts

Posted by Paul on Jan 30th 2018

Was looking for inexpensive bike short w minimal padding and that's just what I got. Fabric is thin so don't expect them to last forever but wanted something that doesn't feel like I'm wearing a corset with a mattress between my thighs. Padding is pretty cheap and thin. much more comfy than traditional padded bike shorts.

The edit and function of this short is awesome. Time will tell in the durability. I hope it lasts as well as my first experiences with it!

Nice to find a short without the large bulky padding buildup in the seat.

    Men's Pro Shorts

Posted by John Welch on Sep 12th 2017

Let me state that I don't like less than 5 star reviews, but the only general complaint is with the seams that outline the main chamois. They are irritating within 5 miles. Now a complaint that includes all current chamois, not just this design. Chamois with foam always wrinkle and cause chaffing irritation. I hear riders complaining about their saddle and/or the chamois after the lubrication evaporates away. The only good lube is non-water based such as petrolium jelly. Put a ton of it on the pad and at least one can ride for a couple of hours avoiding pinching of the bag and general friction. I like your company's attempts to find choices for us. Although I have a wall full of saddles purchased throughout my riding days beginning in 1956, most all of my riding has been on Brooks leather saddles; B17; B17N; B5N and C15. I still ride over 10,000 miles per year recreationally on a road bike and occasionally on a mountain bike. I ride using only cotton gym shorts. And I must reveal that for riding centuries I add a pair of womens slick panties under the gym shorts. (Hey, I can hear the laughter)!! My point is, a perfectly fitting saddle does not require a chamois. Indeed, it ruins the perfect dimension of the saddle by adding an extra thicknessand material that is alien to the task. If enough riders understood the chamois is where the discomfort is generated, they might ask for a looser pair of shorts with a "silk" lining. I guess that's what I'm suggesting for you to consider. I can ride 100 plus many more miles with the suggested kit above and the only area that doesn't hurt is my butt! Thanks for listening to this diatribe.......Your pal, John in Phoenix

    First Pair of Bike Shorts

Posted by Edward Nenstiel on Aug 30th 2017

I'm a casual biker (at age 70) but, have been riding farther in recent years so, I decided to break down and purchase my first pair of bike shorts. I wish I had done it sooner. These shorts are amazingly comfortable and the chamois is a godsend. Will definitley purchase more!
