I got these for winter road riding in Phoenix after a "cold" snap made for a few uncomfortable morning or night rides. The headband fits well for both myself (5'11" almost 300 lb) and my petite wife (5'2" and a fraction of that). It keeps my ears warm even on 40 degree days when going 20mph. The only issue I have is it is a bit of a tight fit under my Giro Synthe (wife has the same issue with her Bontrager Ballista). Not sure if it is the aero road helmet that is the problem, just all helmets. It also muffles sound but amplifies the wind. I'm sure many headbands have that issue but it makes it harder to talk to people while riding. I can hear enough to hear traffic around me at least so safety is not a concern.
This headband is thin but insulates well enough to keep my ears warm riding 20 miles round trip to work throughout the winter in Chicago. It is durable as well, showing no wear after 2 seasons until I lost it and had to buy another one.
It needs to be longer. My head isn't that big and the velcro barely meets. I'll have to add an inch which is just silly.
This headband protects the ears that can easily become too cold when exposed to cold weather when bicycling. The headband is also made to fit more comfortably under a bicycling helment. The velcro adjustment of the headband can be securely adjusted for different head sizes. There are no bad comments about this product and I would recommend this headband to any bicycler to use in moderate cold weather
I like this headband in the cold under my helmet
