Danny Chew's Million Mile Man T-Shirt - Orange Heather Cotton Tee
Danny Chew is a Pittsburgh native who wanted to bike one million miles in his lifetime. In 1983, he created the Dirty Dozen, a continuous bike ride over 13 of Pittsburgh’s toughest hills. In the 33 years he has organized the event, Danny Chew set several Dirty Dozen records, one of which includes biking the current steepest hill in the U.S. (Canton Avenue) 66 times. This past September while in Ohio, he suffered a biking accident, leaving him paralyzed below the chest. As part of a fundraiser, Aero Tech Designs created a t-shirt that honors the biking legend during his recovery.
A perfect shirt for both riders and spectators to wear at this year's Dirty Dozen! This shirt is made with 90% cotton and 10% polyester, sure to keep feeling great on or off the bike. Screenprinted on the front is the face of the Million Mile Man himself, Danny Chew. This t-shirt will go great with a pair of multi-sport shorts
Half of each t-shirt sale will go to help offset the cost of Danny Chew's medical and transitional expenses. He is currently progressing with daily physical therapy to make use of the limited mobility he has in his hands and arms so he can continue his miles through hand-cycling.
Thank you for supporting Danny Chew!
