Where are the pockets?
The product description lists 2 zippered side pockets. The picture shows a rear pocket. The jacket sent to me had no pockets. I like the jacket but I feel cheated that it has no pockets. What happened?
ProsNice material. Highly visible. Good fit. Lightweight.
ConsJacket was not delivered as advertised. NO pockets.
Best UsesAny outdoor activity where a lightweight jacket is needed . . . . . unless you need a jacket with pockets.

When I received this jacket I was surprised at how light weight it was. I was replacing a Bellwether shell that was getting old. This jacket is much thinner. I have only worn it once, on a ride where the temperature was just over 40 degrees. Since the Weather Channel had reported 37-38 degrees I wore a jersey and a coolmax tee under the jacket, and was glad I did. On a sunny March day with some wind I was cool the entire 40 mile ride. I had wanted something to wear when the temp was 40 or above as my ATD reflective jacket is too warm at 40. This jacket just is adequate at 40-43. I do not know, thought that I would call it 'windbreaker'. On my long downhill, when I hit 30mph I cooled considerably, felt the wind cutting right through the jacket. I want to echo the complaints in other reviews about the zippers. Beyond that it is opposite normal US men's, the full the length zipper is hard to pull up, it catches on the wind guard that is behind the zipper. And one pocket zipper needed some convincing to open, not sure how I finally got it open, and I do not plan to close it again to find out. I should say though my older shell also had issues with the zipper snagging, so maybe this is a trade off for a shell jacket. I did try to use the 'extra long' sleeves to cover my hands, as my midweight gloves are not quite enough in the low 40s. I bought the medium jacket which is slightly large at a 40-42, I am an off the shelf 40 with a 34 sleeve, and the sleeves a) came about to the base of my thumb, and b) slid right back to my wrist. At least the covered the wrist. On the positive, the jacket fit pretty well. And the side pockets were perfect for my handkerchief and energy bars., I really bought the jacket for the side pockets, the single back pocket of most shells doesn't work for me.
ProsDecent fit. Sized as stated. Side pockets.
ConsZippers. Not windproof.
Best UsesRides in the 40s.

Great Lightweight Windbreaker!
Incredibly lightweight and effectively wind resistant. Seems to work really well for temperatures in the 40-50 degree range. Not totally waterproof but certainly more resistant than most.

Zips from wrong side for American male. Welt catches in zipper repeatedly. Also difficult to unzip.
