Very well made; long enough in the leg (medium) for 6' tall rider; comfortable from 32 to low 40s for 50 mile ride; [have not yet tried below freezing}. Will definitely purchase more Aero Tech-made product.

If only I had the body
November 12, 2016
I now own two of this item. Last winter I wore these tights whenever I had some outside activity, cycling, skiing, shoveling snow. They were very warm and comfortable, thus the second purchase. I would recommend this item to anyone. Oh, about the title... I'm 6'2" with big waist and chicken legs. It took my wife about 5 minutes to stop laughing and catch her breath after my first appearance in these tights. I typically wear them under jeans or shorts (when cycling), so the look isn't so bad. However, the functionality far outweighs my distorted profile.
Pros:
comforatble, warm
Cons:
none
Best Uses:
any winter outside activity

Perfect for the Pyrenees!
November 29, 2015
Wore these on a five day tour through south-west France in Late November and they were perfect. One morning was just above freezing and these still kept me warm. I did put a waterproof shell over them when I encountered rain but no complaints. I would definitely recommend these. The mediums run a little long in the leg but better than a little short.
Pros:
good overall fit, warm, dry quickly
Cons:
not wind or rain proof

Happy with purchase. So far good to 45 degrees. Haven't ridden in lower temps yet. Get rid of the zipper. Mine wouldn't open from day one.
Pros:
comfort in moderately cold weather
Cons:
zipper at ankle wouldn't open from day one. Others have commented of this.
Best Uses:
chilly days

November 3, 2015
My husband and I both have 2 pairs of these we wear in cold weather riding. I even wear them when I have to go out and shovel snow:(. They are very warm and comfortable. The fleece lining feels amazing on your skin. So cozy!! The price is great too! Highly recommend these wonderful warm cozy tights!

Better than expected. Using them for cycling in temps ranging from high 30's to upper 40's. I like shorts above 50. Size is true.

Very comfortable but the pocket ...?
April 7, 2015
First let me say I am not a biker; using these more for general outdoor activities. But very comfortable and warm; have walked the dog with temp in the low 20's and felt adequately warm - a wind might change that at the lower temps. The only negative I have is that the "pocket" is nothing more than an additional piece of fabric (about 3x8) sewn into the inside of the rear. Problem is that you

Very happy
February 24, 2015
I was replacing a very very old pair of polypropylene tights. There are a bunch of options for expensive and often over-engineered tights. I just wanted stretch fleece mid to heavy weight thermal tights. These is it and then some. I use these for many uses, as a base layer for many outdoor activities: biking, winter camping, kayaking, skiing etc. I haven't used them yet for all of these but after

Confused
January 24, 2014
I use the product on cool days to keep my legs warm. I had an older product that was thicker and more effective at keep me warm down to freezing. The newer model is thinner but will (hopefully) last longer. I need to use a wind breaker cover over these on cool mornings The ideal setup would make the legs single thickness and in double thickness and have a convertible shorts. That way you can re

Okay but not durable
October 28, 2013
These tights are very comfortable and great when they're new. But with regular use, they're not so great. I use these for cold-weather bike commuting. I'm on my second pair, and these are now pilling at the crotch like the first pair. The Chinese zippers are fiddly even when new (very light gauge), and easily mis-track. I'm switching back to my Brooks tights. They're not as comfortable, but they

I get cold easily and these things have the amazing ability to keep me warm without overheating even when the mercury starts to rise. I think I'll try the padded bib version next.

Very warm and comfy tights
December 12, 2012
The material used on these tights is amazing it sort of reminds me of my sleeping bag's hollowfil it traps air to provide insulation and the same time the out face of the fabric works as a breathable shell I took them on a 30 degrees ride and I didn't fill the wind at all keeping perspiration under control was crucial to avoid any chills the "strechness" of the fabric allowed me to layer them
