Lightweight Cycling Shoe booties - Windproof Toe Protection

great fitting shoe cover

This is a lightweight cycling shoe cover with a windproof front and toe area. The shoe cover has a fantastic fit because of the stretch polyester material that it uses. The spandex fabric is a brushed polyester / lycra fleece.

Reflective tape on the back creates a moving beam of light for extra visibility in low light. The bottom has openings for walking and bicycle cleat.

  • Windproof fabric on the front of the shoe cover
  • Opening on bottom for bicycle cleats
  • Reflective tape on back
  • Stretch on and Stretch off
  • Windproof Polyester Toes with Polyester / Spandex Ankle Sock

Windproof fabric is three layers with fleece next to the skin, windproof waterproof membrane laminated to a polyester surface.

Lightweight shoe covers work
June 4, 2016
I used my shoe covers at this year's DC Bike Ride and they worked well. We suffered light rain all day and my feet stayed warm and dry the whole time. The only criticism I would offer is that they can be hard to put on and take off over ratchet buckles, like my Pearl Izumis and some other shoes have. In my caee, an XXL might hsve worked better.
Pros:
Take up no space in my pack. Perform well.
Cons:
Sometimes hard to put on and take off. No way to try before you buy.
